LDR Chaplain Network

Lutheran Disaster Response is proud to announce the development of the LDR Chaplain Network. Lutheran Chaplains work in many settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, long term care facilities, military service, and correctional facilities. Lutheran Chaplains provide expert care with diverse populations, bringing spiritual comfort to people facing crisis and loss.

The Lutheran Disaster Response Chaplain Network will bring the experience and talent of these chaplains to service in disaster, as a component of the other services Lutheran Disaster Response provides.

Lutheran Disaster Response Chaplains are rostered, ordained or consecrated leaders with Clinical Pastoral Education training. We invite chaplains from a variety of these backgrounds to join the Lutheran Disaster Response Chaplain Network and be available to provide spiritual care in time of disaster both on your local level and also across the country in large scale disaster.

For information on the Lutheran Disaster Response Chaplain Network, please contact Rev. Kevin Massey, Board Certified Chaplain, Assistant Director – Domestic Disaster Response at kevin.massey@elca.org.
