First Evangelical Lutheran Church
First Evangelical Lutheran Church is
approximately 20 miles south of Winston-Salem and approximately 35
miles southwest of Greensboro. The church is about 3 miles north
of
I-85, just four blocks from historic Downtown Lexington. While a
construction project is underway (through November 2009), First
Lutheran has limited housing available for volunteer groups in their
church building. There are no beds, but air mattresses will be
supplied. Volunteers need to
provide all bedding, linens, and toiletries. A hot dinner and a
self-serve cold breakfast are both provided. There is currently
no charge.
