Hurricane Response
Over three years after the devastation
of the 2005 hurricane season, work continues along the Gulf Coast.
In addition, Hurricanes Gustav and Ike left much work to be done,
especially in Texas. Volunteers,
especially skilled volunteers, are needed across the region to help
with the continued work of rebuilding and repair.
There is so much to be done, and no single organization could
possibly do it all. In the spirit of cooperation and collaboration,
we are providing lists of volunteer opportunities with various
disaster response organizations. If you are interested in
volunteering, please select a state
below. On the corresponding page, you
will find current needs and opportunities, both with LDR and other
disaster response organizations.
