Volunteer Needs - Florida

All volunteers in Florida are coordinated through Lutheran Services in Florida.  Any group interested in working in Florida should first contact Danielle Kearney with LSF at 800-651-1853, or dkearney@lsfnet.org.

The following long-term recovery groups have current volunteer needs:

LASER (Lake and Sumter Emergency Recovery Inc) is in need of volunteers both skilled and unskilled.  Much work remains to be done as a result of Tropical Storm Fay.  The volunteer coordinator is Leisa, and she can be reached at 352-483-1029, or by e-mail at leisa@laser.fl.com.

IHOPE (Immokalee Helping Our People in Emergencies) is coordinating volunteers for disaster and non-disaster related volunteer work around the Immokalee area, east of Fort Myers/Naples.  The volunteer coordinator is David Grove, and he can be reached by e-mail at overseer54@comcast.net
