Volunteer Needs - Mississippi

Lutheran Episcopal Services in Mississippi has provided the following information about volunteer needs along the Mississippi Gulf Coast as rebuilding from Hurricane Katrina continues:

Mission on the Bay (Bay St. Louis) continually needs skilled and unskilled volunteers as well as support personnel to assist in feeding and housing volunteers.

Camp Victor (Ocean Springs) needs skilled and unskilled volunteers for rehabbing, new builds, roof repair, framing, sheetrock and finishing, rough in and finish carpentry, flooring and installation of windows and doors.

Volunteers are especially needed for January, February, May, August, September, November, and December.  If you are interested in volunteering at either camp, contact Kelsey Blum, volunteer coordinator, by phone at 228-282-3754 or by e-mail at kblum@lesm.org.
