Volunteer Needs - Texas

Counties along the coast of Texas still need volunteer help, in particular skilled volunteers who can do sheet rock, interior finishing, and painting.  These areas will continue to need volunteers through 2010.  Below are three contacts, based on location:

Galveston County - Contact the Volunteer Reception Center at 409-797-3710 to speak with Verronda Flanagan, the volunteer coordinator.

Houston/Harris County - Contact LINC (Lutheran Intercity Network Coalition).  The volunteer coordinator for LINC-Houston is Gwen Franke, and she can be reached at 281-598-3224, or by e-mail at gwen@linchouston.org.
